Definition
经营 (jīng yíng) means 'to run, to operate' a business or organization, focusing on management and strategy. It is more specific than 从事 (cóng shì 'to engage in'), which covers any activity or profession, and broader than 营业 (yíng yè 'to be open for business'). 运营 (yùn yíng) is similar but often applies to systems or transportation.
