自傲 means 'arrogant' or 'self-conceited' — it carries a strong negative sense of excessive pride and looking down on others. It can also mean 'proud of something' in a formal or literary tone, but this usage is far less common; for positive pride, 骄傲 or 自豪 are more natural in everyday Chinese. Use with caution: 自傲 almost always implies disapproval.
