Definition
蓬蓬 is a reduplicated adjective (state word) describing something that is thick, overgrown, or bushy — often used for wild grass, hair, or beards. It can also be an onomatopoeia for the roaring or blustery sound of wind. As a reduplicated form, it often appears with 的 (蓬蓬的) or alone in literary contexts.
