Definition
讯 is a bound form (b.f.) that must combine with another morpheme to form a complete word. It has two main senses: (1) conveying news or information (as in 通讯 'communication' or 电讯 'telecommunication'), and (2) questioning or interrogating (as in 审讯 'interrogate' or 讯问 'inquire'). The meaning depends on the compound it appears in.
