Definition
试行 (shìxíng) means 'to try out on a trial basis' and is used for policies, rules, or systems being tested before full implementation. It differs from 试用 (shìyòng), which is for testing products or software, and from 实验/试验 (shíyàn/shìyàn), which refer to scientific experiments or controlled tests.
