调侃 (tiáo kǎn) means to tease playfully with humor and wit, often in light-hearted banter among friends. It is less harsh than 嘲笑 (cháo xiào, to mock/ridicule) and more verbal/banter-like than 逗 (dòu, to tease playfully to amuse, often with actions).
