豁达 describes a person's open-mindedness and optimism — someone who takes a generous view of life and is not easily upset by trivial matters. Unlike 乐观 (lèguān, which focuses on a positive outlook toward the future), 豁达 emphasizes accepting imperfections with calm and magnanimity.
