Definition
豆腐 (dòu fu) is tofu or bean curd, a soft, solid food made from soy milk. Unlike 豆浆 (dòu jiāng), which is the liquid soy drink, and 豆子 (dòu zi), which are whole beans or legumes, 豆腐 refers specifically to the processed block used in cooking.
