Definition
You use 迫于 before a noun phrase expressing pressure, circumstances, or public opinion, followed by a clause describing the unavoidable outcome. It means 'forced by' or 'having no alternative but to ... due to ...'. The structure is often 迫于 + reason + 不得不/只好/才 + result.
