酷似 (kù sì) means 'to strikingly resemble' — it implies a very close, almost exact likeness (e.g., faces, replicas), much stronger than 类似 (lèi sì, 'similar'). It is more formal than the everyday 好似 (hǎo sì, 'to seem like') and avoids the literary register of 犹如 (yóu rú).
