长久 (cháng jiǔ) describes something that lasts a very long time, often for relationships or states that are stable and continuous. It contrasts with 持久 (chí jiǔ), which emphasizes endurance and ability to last, and with the simpler 久 (jiǔ), which is less formal and can be used as an adverb.
