Comparing 以后, 然后, 后来

后来: 'afterwards', used for past events only. 然后: 'then' or 'and then', linking sequential actions. 以后: 'after', follows a time/event to indicate a later occurrence; works for past and future. While 后来 starts a new past event, 然后 connects actions in sequence, and 以后 sets a time reference.
