Degree complement
Use 得 after a verb to describe how an action is performed, such as its degree or result. Learners often forget to include 得 when they want to add a descriptive word, so make sure the particle is present.

- 你做得不错。Nǐ zuò dé bú cuò.You're doing a great job.
- 孩子们学得挺快的。Hái zi men xué dé tǐng kuài de.The kids are learning fast.
- 我吃得太饱了。Wǒ chī dé tài bǎo le.I'm stuffed.
- 你们谈得顺利吗?Nǐ men tán dé shùn lì ma?Did your conversation go well?
