Expressing a last chance with 再不... 就...

Use 再不...就... to express that if you don't do something now, a negative consequence will follow. It combines urgency with a conditional 'if not... then...' meaning. Be careful not to forget 再, as omitting it changes the meaning to a simple negation.

Structure

Subj. + 再不 + [Action] + 就 + [Consequence] + (了)
The action after 再不 is urgent; the consequence is usually undesirable.
