Expressing "both… and…" with 既...又

Use 既...又... (jì...yòu...) to express that two qualities or states exist simultaneously. Both parts should be of the same type (adjectives, verbs) and often of comparable syllable length. It is frequently used to highlight positive attributes.

Structure

既 + A + 又 + B
A and B are usually adjectives or verbs of similar length and form.
