Expressing "nearly" with 几乎

Use 几乎 before a noun phrase with 都 to say 'almost all/every ...'. This pattern emphasizes that nearly every member of a group has a property or does something. Common with classifiers like 每 个 or 所有.

Use 几乎 + 没有 + noun phrase to say 'almost no/none ...'. This negates existence, indicating that very few or none of something exist or do something. Often followed by a verb phrase.
