Separable verb
Separable verbs are two-character verbs that can be split, allowing you to insert objects, time, or manner between the two characters. This is common with verbs like 见面 and 道歉. The most important pitfall is not splitting them when needed, such as adding a duration: '见了一个小时面', not '一个小时见面'.
