Definition
各就各位 is a fixed expression used in sports as the starting command 'On your mark!' — it tells competitors to take their positions at the starting line. It can also be used figuratively in non-sport contexts to mean 'everyone, get into position' or 'take your places' before an activity begins. The phrase is often followed by 预备 (get set) and 跑 (go).
