Definition
固若金汤 is a four-character idiom (chengyu) that literally means 'as solid as metal walls and a boiling moat'. It describes defenses, positions, or arguments that are extremely strong and cannot be broken through. You use it to praise the strength of a fortification, a team's defense, or an argument.
