Definition
女婿 (nǚxu) means 'son-in-law' – specifically the husband of one's daughter. Its near-antonym is 媳妇 (xífu, HSK6 'daughter-in-law'), the wife of one's son. Unlike 媳妇, 女婿 never means 'wife' in any dialect.
