抽奖 (chōu jiǎng) means to take part in a lucky draw or raffle — the action of drawing for a prize. It contrasts with 中奖 (zhòng jiǎng), which means to actually win the prize. Unlike 抽签 (chōu qiān, drawing lots for decision-making), 抽奖 always involves a prize or reward.
