拼死拼活 is a four-character fixed expression (习语) meaning 'to spare no effort' or 'to do everything humanly possible'. It's stronger than 努力 — it carries a sense of pushing yourself to the absolute limit, as if life and death were on the line. You can use it as an adverbial before the verb, often with 地, as in 拼死拼活地干 ('work like crazy').
