Definition
拿药 means 'to get medicine' (from a pharmacy, hospital, or clinic). It is a separable verb (离合词): the object 药 can split off from 拿 when adding measure words, complements, or aspect markers, as in 拿了三次药 ('got medicine three times'). The person you get it for is often introduced with 给: 给我拿药 ('get medicine for me').
