Definition
接连 (jiē lián) means 'one after another, in succession,' focusing on a series of separate events happening without a break. It differs from 连续 (lián xù), which can also describe a single unbroken period (e.g., 连续工作 'work continuously'), and from 一连 (yī lián), which is more colloquial and often used with numbers.
