Definition
注射 is the formal, written term for 'to inject', used in medical contexts (e.g., injection procedures, vaccines). In everyday speech, 打针 (dǎ zhēn, 'to get an injection') is much more common. 注 (zhù) as a verb also means 'to inject', but it is broader (pouring, focusing attention) and rarely used alone for medical injections.
