Definition
流连 means to linger in a place because you enjoy it so much that you're unwilling to leave. It has a slightly literary or formal feel and often describes a positive experience, unlike the English word 'loiter' which can sound negative. You may encounter it in the common four-character idiom 流连忘返 ('lingering on and forgetting to return').
