Definition
浓度 refers to the concentration of a substance in a mixture — how much of something is present in a given volume or area. It is common in chemistry (溶液的浓度), but also extends to population density (人口浓度) and emotional intensity (感情浓度). For physical density (mass/volume), use 密度 instead.
