清凉 (qīng liáng) describes a pleasant, clean coolness, like refreshing air or a cool drink. It differs from 凉爽 (liáng shuǎng), which also means 'cool and refreshing' but emphasizes a comfortable, invigorating feeling; 清凉 is more about a pure, crisp coolness. The second sense 'skimpy, revealing' is specific to clothing and is not shared by 凉爽.
