Definition
滚动 (gǔndòng) is the standard verb for continuous rolling motion and computer scrolling. It differs from 滚 (gǔn), which also means "to roll" but can be rude as "get out!" and has other meanings like "to boil". For thunder, 滚动 describes the rolling rumble, while 轰 (hōng) is a loud explosive boom.
