Definition
灌注 literally refers to pouring a liquid into a container. Figuratively, it extends to instilling knowledge, ideas, or feelings into someone's mind, and to concentrating effort or attention on something. It is a formal/literary verb, more abstract than the everyday 倒 (to pour) or 教 (to teach).
