谐 is a bound morpheme (b.f.) that means 'harmony', 'harmonious', or 'humorous' depending on the compound. It cannot be used alone; you must pair it with another character. Common words include 和谐 (héxié, harmonious), 谐音 (xiéyīn, homophony or phonetic pun), and 诙谐 (huīxié, humorous).
