Definition
贪图 means to seek or covet something desirable, almost always with a negative connotation — it implies wanting an easy gain or pleasure that you don't deserve or that comes at a cost. Common objects include 小便宜 'petty advantages', 安逸 'comfort/ease', 享受 'enjoyment', or 名利 'fame and profit'. The verb carries a moral judgment: the speaker disapproves of the desire. It is used as a transitive verb and always takes an object.
