Definition
返航 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to return to base/port' for ships or 'to return to the origin airport' for flights. The two syllables can be split: when you talk about having returned from a voyage, you can say 返过航 (fǎn guò háng). Be careful not to put the object or frequency directly after the whole word — instead, insert measure words or duration between 返 and 航, e.g. 返一次航 'return from one voyage'.
