Expressing "much more" in comparisons
To say something is much more [adjective] than something else in Chinese, use the 比 structure with 很多, 得多, or 多了 after the adjective. Make sure the adjective comes before these intensifiers, not after.
Structure
N1 + 比 + N2 + Adj. + 很多 / 得多 / 多了
All three endings mean 'much more'. 很多 is the most colloquial, 得多 often appears as 'adj.+得多', and 多了 usually comes with 了.
