Expressing "and also" with 还

Use 还 to connect two actions or states in a sentence, meaning 'and also' or 'in addition.' It usually appears after a comma, introducing the second verb or object. A common pitfall is confusing 还 with 也: 还 adds actions for the same subject, while 也 compares subjects (he also does this).

Structure

Subj. + Verb + Obj. 1, 还 + Verb + Obj. 2
