Definition

哆嗦 (duōsuo) means to tremble or shiver, usually from cold, fear, or strong emotion. It is more colloquial than 颤抖 (more written/dramatic) and reduplicates rhythm to stress ongoing shaking; 发抖 is the plain everyday equivalent.
