丢弃 (diū qì) — to discard; to abandon

定義

丢弃 is a neutral verb for deliberately throwing away or abandoning a thing. Weaker and more concrete than 抛弃 or 遗弃 (which are usually for people/principles); broader than 剔除 (which is for cutting out unwanted items from a group).
