Reduplication of verbs
Repeat a verb to show the action is done briefly or casually. For single-syllable verbs, just say it twice; the second syllable gets a neutral tone.

- 你看看。Nǐ kàn kàn.Take a little look.
- 我试试。Wǒ shì shì.I'll give it a try.
- 说说你的想法。Shuō shuō nǐ de xiǎng fǎ.Talk a little bit about your ideas.
- 出去玩玩吧！Chū qù wán wán ba!Go out and have fun!
- 我想出去走走。Wǒ xiǎng chū qù zǒu zǒu.I want to go out and walk for a bit.
