Complement 坏了
坏了 is an intensifying complement used after adjectives and psychological verbs. It indicates an extreme degree, often translated as 'dead-tired', 'starved to death', or 'worried sick'. Note that it is colloquial and should not be used for physical objects or formal situations.

- 大家都累坏了。Dà jiā dōu lèi huài le.Everyone was dead-tired.
- 我早饭和中饭都没吃,饿坏了。Wǒ zǎo fàn hé zhōng fàn dōu méi chī, è huài le.I didn't eat anything for breakfast or lunch. I'm starved to death.
- 孩子不见了,妈妈急坏了。Hái zi bú jiàn le, mā ma jí huài le.The child is missing. The mother is worried sick.
- 你一晚上没有给我打电话,我担心坏了。Nǐ yì wǎn shàng méi yǒu gěi wǒ dǎ diàn huà, wǒ dān xīn huài le.You haven't called me all night. I've been worried sick.
- 她终于买到了演唱会的门票,她激动坏了。Tā zhōng yú mǎi dào le yǎn chàng huì de mén piào, tā jī dòng huài le.She was ecstatic when she finally got tickets to the concert.
