罗汉 (luóhàn) is the Buddhist term for an arhat — a saint who has achieved nirvana and freed themselves from rebirth. In everyday life you'll mainly meet it in 'Eighteen Arhats' temple statues and 罗汉果 (luóhànguǒ), a monk fruit used in sweet herbal tea.
