Definition
This four-character chengyu comes from a famous Daoist fable by Tao Yuanming — a hidden peach-blossom spring where people lived in peace, isolated from the outside world. Today it refers to any idyllic, secluded place or utopian retreat, often with a wistful or literary tone.
