Definition
如出一辙 is a four-character idiom (成语) literally meaning 'as if coming from the same wheel rut.' It describes two or more things (opinions, methods, behaviors, etc.) being remarkably similar or exactly the same — as if they were cut from the same cloth. Use it to emphasize striking uniformity, often with a nuance of lacking originality.
