Definition
对路 is a separable verb-object compound meaning 'to suit, to meet needs, to be to one's liking'. It can be split into 对…的路 to specify the person or thing something suits (e.g. 对他的路 'suits him'). The negative form 不对路 ('not suit, not the right fit') is very common. In casual conversation, it's used to say a job, food, or solution feels just right.
