Definition
灌醉 is a resultative compound verb: 灌 ('to force someone to drink') + 醉 ('drunk'). It means 'to get someone drunk by plying them with alcohol'. You can insert 得/不 between the two characters for potential complements: 灌得醉 ('can get someone drunk'), 灌不醉 ('can't get someone drunk'). The object usually appears before or after the verb in a 把 construction.
