Definition
门路 has two senses: a knack or method for doing things, and social connections/pull. Unlike 诀窍 and 窍门, which only mean 'trick/knack', 门路 also covers the 'connections' sense. 路子 is a colloquial synonym for both senses, but 门路 is the standard term.
