  Zhè tàng liè chē cóng běi jīng xià xíng, xià yí zhàn shì guǎng zhōu.
  This train goes down from Beijing; the next stop is Guangzhou.
• 他们坐船沿江下行，看到了很多风景。
  Tā men zuò chuán yán jiāng xià xíng, kàn dào le hěn duō fēng jǐng.
  They traveled downstream by boat along the river and saw a lot of scenery.
• 发大水的时候，船只不能下行。
  Fā dà shuǐ de shí hou, chuán zhī bù néng xià xíng.
  When there's a big flood, boats cannot travel downstream.
