(huá) — cunning; crafty; sly

Definition

Used almost only in 狡猾 ("cunning, sly") — by itself it is not a standalone word, so a learner will rarely see 猾 alone. The contrast with 狡 is grammatical: 狡猾 is the common set form, while 狡 stands on its own as an adjective.
