Expressing "as if" with 似乎
似乎 means "it seems" or "as if" and is used to express a tentative judgment or speculation. Place it before the verb or adjective phrase to indicate that the statement is an impression, not a confirmed fact.

Often used to express uncertainty or a tentative guess.
Examples
- 他似乎很高兴。Tā sì hū hěn gāo xìng.He seems very happy.
- 这个问题似乎没有答案。Zhè ge wèn tí sì hū méi yǒu dá àn.This problem seems to have no answer.
- 你似乎不太明白。Nǐ sì hū bú tài míng bai.You seem to not quite understand.
