Expressing "even if…" with 就算
Use 就算 to introduce a hypothetical or extreme condition, followed by 也 to state a result that remains true no matter what. This structure works like "even if" and highlights that the outcome won't change under the stated circumstance.

Examples
- 就算你不想听，我也要说。Jiù suàn nǐ bù xiǎng tīng, wǒ yě yào shuō.Even if you don't want to listen, I still need to say it.
- 就算你说的都是真的，我们也没办法证明。Jiù suàn nǐ shuō de dōu shì zhēn de, wǒ men yě méi bàn fǎ zhèng míng.Even if what you say is true, we still don't have any way to prove it.
- 就算会失败，我也不后悔。Jiù suàn huì shī bài, wǒ yě bù hòu huǐ.Even if I fail, I won't regret it.
- 就算他说他请客，我也要买单。Jiù suàn tā shuō tā qǐng kè, wǒ yě yào mǎi dān.Even if he says it's his treat, I'm still going to pay.
- 就算你通过了面试，也不一定能被录用。Jiù suàn nǐ tōng guò le miàn shì, yě bù yí dìng néng bèi lù yòng.Even if you pass the interview, you still won't necessarily be hired.
