Definition
翻滚 conveys a continuous, often forceful rolling or tumbling motion. It applies to physical objects (e.g., a person tumbling down stairs, an airplane rolling in the sky) and figuratively to liquids or emotions seething and churning. Unlike simpler verbs like 滚动 (to roll smoothly), 翻滚 emphasizes repetition and turbulence.
